Mökä moves its member register in August 2021 in a new service called Yhdistysavain (https://www.yhdistysavain.fi/ -website only in Finnish unfortunately). Mökä's board has scrutinized the background and features of the service, and deemed them as fit for the needs of our club. Yhdistysavain was deemed more handy and safe than the current system, and it has several features that make handling of the member data easier. The data that is collected changes only by one datapoint: a new mandatory data point will be whether a member is also a member of AYY. Additionally, in the new system all members will be able to view and update their member data in the Yhdistysavain system whenever they want.

Every member has been contacted via the email address given in the member register, and thus has been given the opprtunity to quit the club by contacting the board latest on 31.7.2021, if the member doesn't want their data to move to the new system.
The rules of the club have been revised to reflect the current circumstances. The revisions have removed notions of the old Teknillinen korkeakoulu an TKY and replaced them with Aalto-yliopisto and AYY, respectively. The previous rule change failed, so this time the revisions have been approved in club meetings on 23rd Jul 2020 and 14th Aug 2020.
